Could use more modes, but it's tuns of fun solo.. Great game, worth the money. Pros. 1. 4 playable characters each with their own talents. 2. Narrator with a British slang asking you to drink tea everytime you pause the game. 3. Fun boss fights and puzzles so you have to think a bit. 4. Wasn't too difficult so you could have a cup of tea while playing it. Cons. 1. Wanted to play multiplayer but no one would join my server. 2. Campaigns were really great making me sad when it ended. 3. Horde game mode has too many waves (15). Wanted the achievement but too lazy to go through 15 waves. 4. Too many DLCs which aren't real content.. I feel bad buying this game on a grey market key reseller. This is a great game on PC that deserves to be played with friends. Doesn't really get old and runs like a dream on almost all systems from this past half decade. My now 3 year old 970 runs the game at 80+fps on ultra. Supports Vulkan and DX12 guaranteeing great performance from either AMD or NVIDIA cards. Sounds are great and the animations are fluid. Music is fitting and gets you in the mood as well. Theres nothing negative about this game that I can think of at all. If you are looking for a game to sink some time into with a few friends and youre tired of the classics like Left 4 Dead then this is a very viable alternative. Worth full price and then some. As an added bonus it even goes well past 120fps on medium settings so you 1060/580 owners can take full advantage of those high refresh rate monitors.. It has promise but the levels have no random element to them. great game but with potential atm would say its not worth the price ticket would definatly recommend on sale or after some random map design to encourage replayability.. Another Rebellion cash grab. The game costs 50 euros and is released along with DLCs amounting to 63 euros. This is just classic Rebellion, they have been doing the same with their Sniper Elite series and now they are doing it with their new games as well, they release "a part" of the game and then pack up MORE content than there is in the original game in DLCs ON RELEASE instead of including it in the game. The gameplay is fine. If you expect this to be like ZAT or build on the core concepts you will be disappointed. The core mechanics of the game are too simple, the difficulty is too easy, and the puzzles are repetitive. There is no scoping, unless you get one of the "special" guns at random, that you have to pay for, each map, at specific locations, for cash you get during the map. About the in-game cash, there is no sharing in multiplayer, so either you work out how to share or someones grabs all the coins. Also random loots in chests matters way more than actually making headshots and keeping up streaks, which makes the combat even more unrewarding. This game is a decent buy for multiplayer, if you can get it at less than 20 euros, otherwise it's just really disappointing. Mostly due to the fact that they could have easily transfered the core concepts of ZAT and developed those to a make a different and more full game. Instead they just made the same game with simpler mechanics that doesn't really work.. Really solid Left 4 Dead like with an original theme. If you've ever played the board game Fortune and Glory it conjures a similar feel. The game mechanics however are quite similar to their other series Sniper Elite but with a focus on running and gunning instead of stealth. The puzzles are pretty easy so far but a couple of them took me a minute ot two. I'm not sure if repeat plays offer up the same exact puzzles but if they do then that makes them "interesting" only on your first run through so I could see finding them annoying eventually.I've only played solo which was really fun but I can see how a group would make it both more fun and much quicker. It's well worth taking a breath and looking around the world both at the beauty of the scenery and for hidden passageways and items. Since there's no timer and you can take it at any pace that suits you.If you've watched any streams or YouTube videos of people playing the first level DO NOT let that inform your decision. That is the tutorial level and WAY too easy. After that initial area the game ramps up quickly and you find youself facing many enemies with different attacks and movement speeds, bosses etc...My main crituque would be that, as far as I can tell, there's no match making. You can host a game and invite friends or open the slots to randoms but I tried that and nobody joined so as far as I can tell you need to know people with the game to play multiplayer. I could be wrong here but I did not see any other options. It would also be nice if the other spots could be filled with AI allies but there's no option for that either.I've read several complaints about the price but I feel I've already gotten my moneys worth. I've eaten forgettable meals that cost more that this game and they only lasted about an hour. But if $50 is a lot of money for you and you're on the fence wait for a sale. The game is a total blast if you understand what it is and play it for it's strengths. Get into the setting and theme and just have a blast shooting, exploding and punching everything in sight.. Sad to say, but I think this game is bland. I played through the first mission of the campaign and I usually like adventurous settings, but this didn't get me excited at all. They tried to enhamce Zombie Army with some added mechanics, like traps, magic and switch puzzles, loot and weapom upgrades but they didn't hit to spot of gripping gameplay. It is shiny and shallow, maybe nice for the casual player.. I enjoy playing this game. it's more fun while playing with friends.
